Sat asks departments to complete pending works immediately

Jammu : Former Minister and Ex- MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) visited Vishal Nagar and adjoining areas of Wards 32 & 40 and interacted with hundreds of locals. His main motto was to interact with the masses and know about the problems they were facing in their localities.

Sharma was also accompanied by a large number of people including Mandal President Keshav Chopra, District General Secretaries Karan Sharma & Rajesh Gupta, Social Activist Abhishek Sharma, Mandal President BJYM Vikas Singh, local residents and political activists of the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the whole area was extensively toured with locals and a Nullah site was also inspected on which there is a dire requirement of cleaning it and installing a check wall so that the deep drain is maintained properly and no mishap takes place in the area during rainy season as earlier during heavy rains dirty water from deep drains entered the house of inhabitants which created chaotic situation for them.

He also asked the concerned officials of UEED (Urban Environmental Engineering Department) and JMC to immediately take up the process of cleaning and construction of Nullah so that a clean and conducive atmosphere could be built in the surroundings.

Sharma also visited the adjoining lanes in the area and asked the Engineering Wing of JMC’s Central Division to prepare estimates for coping up with basic requirements including lanes and drains so that a proper infra could be given to the masses at their doorsteps.

Nitish, Rajesh Saini, Karan Banotra, Shobhit, Sandhya, TR Khajuria and several others were also present.
