SSP Kathua visits far flung Lohai Malhar, Duggan Villages

KATHUA: In order to strengthen the Police -Public relationship and inaugurate the “New Camp Office, a meeting was held at Malhar in which large number of respectable citizens and general public including various Ward Members, Sarpanches, Panches, Chowkidar, Namberdar and other respectable persons, BDCs’ of Lohai Malhar & Duggan were present.

The meeting was chaired by SSP Kathua R C Kotwal along with SDPO Billawar Arvind Kumar, Insp.Tariq Ahmed SHO PS Malhar, and other officials.

During the meeting, participants raised various issues like road mobile network, shortage of staff in Schools & Health Institution and other issues. They were patiently heard and were assured by SSP Kathua that their geniune grievances shall be addressed as soon as possible so that more and more conducive and peaceful environment can be created in the society.

The aim of the meeting was to abridge the gap between public and police administration and to interact with the general public.Moreover, people of the area thanked the SSP Kathua for visiting such a far flung area.

Kotwal assured that such meetings will be held more frequently in near future.
