JAMMU : In its endeavour to supplement the technical intervention in the Examination wing of the University of Jammu, Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu inaugurated the state of the art video conference hall in the presence of Prof Jasbir Singh, Controller of Examinations.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dhar lauded the efforts of the Controller of examinations for creating an interface that is a need of honour ever since the outbreak of the pandemic.
He further said that the examinations wing in coordination with College principals and other offsite campuses have to devise various examinations schedules that will immensely benefit from this facility.
Earlier, Prof Jasbir Singh, Controller of Examinations in his address gave a detailed presentation of the facilities that comprise of multipurpose Hall with Audio and Video facility, inbuilt ZOOM App and Google Meet, Video Conference facility, SmartBoard facility, Online Browser facility and many other applications/facilities available in this video. \
Among others, Prof Anupama Vohra, Convener, Publication Cell, Dr Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor, Dr Raj Kumar, Deputy Registrar, Dr Vinay Thusoo, Dr Anju Thappa, officers of examination wing, faculty, staff were also present on the occasion.
