Little do we realise how important a good night’s sleep is – how it can induce relaxation, calm and even weight loss. It is the sleep that helps us get relief from the mental and physical exhaustion of the day, rejuvenate and prepare for the day to come. However, if due to some reason if you end up failing to get an adequate amount of REM sleep, it is likely to result in stress, irritation, and inability to perform everyday tasks. Once in a while failing to get proper sleep may not be a reason to worry; but when it becomes too frequent, it can be blamed on sleep apnea.
