RAJOURI: Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad lauded the Indian Army for doing great work in Jammu & Kashmir in close cooperation with locals but said that collateral damage must be avoided during anti-terror operations.

Addressing a rally in Rajouri Azad said that non-militant, civilian killings fuel terrorism and undo all the gains.

This statement from Azad comes after Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah protested against the alleged killing of civilians in the Hyderpora gunfight
