JAMMU: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) district president, Rajouri, Ramesh Choudhary (Sarpanch from Seri), along with supporters, joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
He joined the party in presence of J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina, BDC Chairperson, Seri Neena Sharma, BJP Mandal president, Nowshera, Sanjeev Dutta, Mandal president, Chottu Ram Choudhary and other senior leaders of the party.
Aam Aadmi Party district president, Basholi, Ramesh Choudhary, Ram Parkash, Ranjeet Singh, Ex-VLW Hans Raj, Kasturi Lal, Suresh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Gurdev Singh, Rakesh Choudhary, Nareshpal, Rajveer, Khim Raj, Surinder Singh, Rashpal, Krishan Lal, Sansar Singh, Madan Lal, Jasbir Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Sham Lal, Raj Kumar and Ramesh Chander joined BJP on the occasion.
BJP office secretary, Tilak Raj Gupta, media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and others were also present.
Ravinder Raina, while welcoming the new entrants said that Ramesh Choudhary is a prominent social and political worker who along with all his team and supporters has joined BJP. He said that these dedicated workers belong to Deing area which is almost on the LoC and BJP welcomes them with open arms into the family. He said that BJP is the best platform to serve the nation and society with selfless efforts.
Raina said that everybody irrespective of region or religion wants to join the BJP as a result of the keen and dedicated efforts of BJP workers led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He said that BJP is of the firm view that Ramesh Choudhary will give his best efforts for the development in the region without any prejudice, while he will work for the extension of the party activities in the region.
Ramesh Choudhary said that due to strong leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and other Central leadership, today everybody is keen to join BJP. He assured the senior party leadership that he will work in accordance with the party principles and especially for the common masses of the region.
