Grenade blast injures three civilians at Hari Singh High Street in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Three civilians received minor injuries after terrorists hurled a grenade at the security forces at Hari Singh High street in Srinagar city on Tuesday afternoon, reports said.

A top police officer said that terrorists lobbed a grenade towards security forces deployed in the area. However, the grenade missed the target and exploded on the road causing splinter injuries to at least three civilians.

Medical Superintendent SMHS Dr Kawaljeet Singh said that three persons were received with minor splinter injuries and are being treated.

Back at the spot of the attack, security forces cordoned the whole area to nab the fleeing terrorists.
