SRINAGAR: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel airlifted four persons in need of medical assistance from snow-bound Tangdhar to district headquarters Kupwara amid closure of Sadhna road.

Officials said that four patients were airlifted on a request made by district administration, as Sadhna Pass (Nasta Cxun) road, connecting Tangdhar with district headquarters Kupwara, continues to remain shut for vehicular traffic dues to snow accumulation.

“The four evacuated patients include two men and two women”, they said.

Inspector General BSF (Kashmir) Raja Babu Singh said: “We are always there to serve the people of Kashmir.”
