Customer arrested for misbehaving, abusing J&K Bank staff

JAMMU: A customer has been arrested for misbehaving, abusing and using un-parliamentarily language with staff members of J&K Bank Durga Nagar Jammu.

As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Post Chinore by Manager J&K Bank Durga Nagar Deepak Bhan on behalf of staff members against bank customer namely Om Parkash Gupta, son of Mulkh Raj Gupta of Ward Number 9 District Kathua, at present H No 4, Sector 2 Durga Nagar that the said person misbehaved, abused and used un-parliamentarily language with staff members especially ladies staff of the bank.

Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 35/2022 under Sections 353, 504 and 506 IPC with Police Station Domana and investigation started.

On reliable information, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Chinore PSI Amit Roshan arrested the man.

The arrested person has been remanded to police custody and further investigation into the case is also going on.

The arrest was made under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
