DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of Youth Clubs Mentors, designated under Mission Youth initiatives, and key Officials of the departments associated with the implementation and sponsorship of self-employment schemes.
The DC reviewed the performance under disbursement of self-employment cases panchayat wise and other allied components envisaged in the Youth Mission,
The DC directed the mentors to put in extra efforts to achieve the target of disbursement of the loan cases of each panchayat as set by the UT administration.
The DC directed the KVIB, DIC and SC, ST& OBC board to verify the sponsored cases panchayat wise under the supervision of Deputy Director Employment by tomorrow positively to consolidate the data and accordingly focus on the Panchayats with low cases.
In addition to this, the DC asked the sponsoring departments and mentors to work in coordination so that the aim and objectives of the district level initiative was achieved.
Besides, the DC directed all the mentors to submit the details in PDF format to the employment department regarding the awareness programs they have conducted till date including the location and the theme of the awareness program, number of participants. He asked them to identify atleast one success story from each panchayat.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, Deputy Director Employment, ACD Doda.
Besides, Youth Club mentors and other officers were also present.
