JAMMU: With an aim to provide an interactive platform for the participants to know themselves better in terms of aptitude and Inclination, Professionalism and Leadership, Delhi Public School Jammu organized webinars for the students of Classes X, XI & XII on the topic Cyber Bullying, Career Competency and Changing Trends and Careers from 3-5 February, 2022.
All students actively participated in the webinars and cleared several notions about the terminologies.
The webinars were conducted under the initiative taken by PRATAM-A unit of International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM).
Students of Class XII attended the webinar on the topic ‘Changing Trends and Careers’, conducted by Mr. Praveen Khanna, a life mentor and a certified Business Communication Specialist and a certified Training and Development Manager while students of Class XI attended webinar on ‘Career Competency’ conducted by Binit Binod who brought along with him a set of rich mentoring experiences across diverse levels of competitive exams.
The students of Class X attended the webinar on the topic ‘Cyber Bullying’ conducted by Ashish Garg, a T3 certified trainer from British Council.
The Resource Persons emphasised over the need to follow the various changing trends in career options, dire need for awareness in terms of Cyber Bullying and various communication and interpersonal skills required to work towards the organisational goals. They also focussed on self-learning skills and breaking the stereotype or mundane of choosing the regular career paths with restricted options of expansion.
Each webinar was followed by a question-and-answer round with the students and the teachers and towards the end of each session, the Resource Persons gave certain standard guidelines to students in their best interest.
The whole programme was coordinated by Umesh Kumar Sharma, Chief Coordinator / Dy. Headmaster, DPS Jammu.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra thanked all the Resource Persons from IIFM for sparing their valuable time to train and guide the teachers and the students.
President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kuwarani Ritu Singh Ji and Director, S.S Sodhi Ji also wished good luck to the students for their future endeavours.
