DPS welcomes ‘Heartbeats’ back

JAMMU: As per government orders, Delhi Public School Jammu reopened for students from class III to VIII on 21st Feb’2022.

Delightful kids with cheerful faces were welcomed warmly by the excited teachers with high five in air. With the arrival of the students after a long break, the school became alive by the return of its heartbeat – ‘the students.’

The school assured safe reopening, following all COVID protocols as per guidelines. Staff and students adhered to COVID appropriate behaviour. Temperature check, sanitization and checking of masks were conducted at the entrance of school premises itself.

Welcome assembly was conducted for the students. Assembly commenced with the school morning prayer, followed by musical prayer and pledge. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta warmly welcomed the students and addressed them with her words of motivation, insisting upon following the COVID behavior for theirs’ as well as others’ safety.

Principal Ruchi Chabra also extended her best wishes to the students and wished them safety and well being.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

Students thoroughly enjoyed their first day in school; meeting their teachers and peers. Their enthusiasm was contagious and they were happy to restart their familiar routine of offline learning.

President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Kunwarani Ritu Singh and Director S.S Sodhi welcomed the students and wished them good times ahead, full of learning and achievements.
