SAMBA: Five travelers died while a sixth was injured after the car they were traveling in met with an accident in Mansar area of J&K’s Samba district on Saturday morning, officials said.
“A total of five people died and one was injured in an accident near Mansar area of Samba district early in the morning,” SHO Samba said in a statement.
An official in the J&K Disaster Management said that the car bearing registration number JK01U-2233 was on way from Samba to Srinagar when it fell into a deep gorge near Jamoda, Samba leading to the casualties.
The identification of the dead and injured person was not immediately known.
