Gold, Silver Prices Today: Yellow metal records dip, silver trading higher on MCX

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold is trading lower while silver is retailing on the higher side. Check the latest city-wise price.

Today, while gold is trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver has recorded a marginal hike. Witnessing a downfall of Rs 58 or 0.12 per cent, gold futures, maturing on December 3, 2021, are trading at Rs 47,215 per 10 grams on the MCX.

Meanwhile, recording a hike of Rs 226 or 0.37 per cent, silver futures, maturing on December 3, 2021, stand at Rs 61,760 per kg.

Yesterday, with a hike, gold futures, maturing on December 3, 2021, were trading at Rs 47,099 per 10 grams on the MCX. Silver futures, maturing on December 3, 2021, stood at Rs 61,738 per kg.

Gold and Silver prices on the international market

As per the metal report by Reuters, gold prices held steady on Wednesday, helped by a slight pullback in the dollar, while investors awaited U.S. inflation data to gauge the Federal Reserve’s path on normalizing policy.

Meanwhile, spot gold was little changed at $1,760.26 per ounce by 0305 GMT, while U.S. gold futures rose 0.1 per cent to $1,760.60.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six rivals, was down 0.2 per cent, easing off from an over one-year high hit on Tuesday.
