JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor-J&K U.T Manoj Sinha felicitated Ridhima Bajpai, student of Class X-A of Delhi Public School Jammu with cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- for winning grand finale of “Choona Hai Aasman Season-6”, a musical talent hunt programme organized by J&K Police under its civic action programme held at Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
Also present on the occasion were, Dilbagh Singh (IPS), Director General of Police, Mukesh Singh, ADGP and renowned singer of Bollywood, Shaan Mukherjee.
The event was organized on the theme “Ae watan tere liye” on completion of 150 years of J&K Police.
Speaking on the occasion, Dilbagh Singh (IPS) praised Ridhima and other contestants for their exemplary vocal music talent and said that J&K Police would encourage and provide all possible support and assistance to these singers as and when required.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated Ridhima and her proud parents for the glorious achievement and extended her best wishes for all future endeavors.
President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kuwarani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi extended their best wishes to Ridhima and her parents.
