Maj Gen Tejinder Kumar takes over as ADG NCC director J&K & Ladakh

JAMMU: Maj Gen Tejinder Kumar MP has taken over as Additional Director General of NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.

PRO Defence Jammu said, “Major General Tejinder is an alumnus of Officers Training Academy, Chennai and was commissioned into the Corps of Signals in Mar 1988. He graduated from the prestigious St Xavier’s College, did his B. Tech from JNU and Masters in Management Study from Osmania University. “

“The General Officer has served in varied terrain and has tenated prestigious command and Staff assignments, including tenures in active operational areas and has also been awarded “Governor’s Medal” for All round Best Cadet in NCC.

“The Officer assumes the appointment at a time when the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir as well as Ladakh are undergoing phenomenal changes and the NCC itself has shifted focus to enrolment of youth from the border areas of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh,” PRO Defence Jammu added.
