Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee Sunday ensured that she would not have to give up the post of the chief minister of West Bengal, by winning the by-election from Bhabanipur Assembly constituency. Mamata had lost the election from Nandigram earlier this year and she needed to become a legislator to continue as CM.
