JAMMU: Pankhuri Aggarwal, Alumna of Delhi Public School Jammu, batch 2009 brought laurels to the school and her parents Rakhi and Rajesh Aggarwal by having her book enlisted for Vidhan Sabha Library Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
She is a gold medalist in English literature. She completed her M.Phil with the highest outstanding grade and is currently pursuing her Ph.D in English literature from University of Jammu.
Her first book of poems titled, “Petals of Reminiscence: A Step Back in Time” has been highly appreciated and also received “Kunwar Viyogi Writers Award”. It has also been shortlisted to be placed in London Book Fair 2020 and in the Oxford Library, New Delhi.
Now, her book is also listed to be placed in Vidhan Sabha Library, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, adding another feather to her cap.
The book is a contemporary antidote offering candid exploration over the suffering questions of how to find the true purpose of life? What is life without love? What does it mean to be lonesome? What do we seek for connections? It is poetic collection of 101 poems, which takes one through all the menaces of life.
