#BUSINESS..Post Office schemes: Check latest interest rates of PPF, Sukanya Samriddhi, Senior Citizen Savings Scheme

Annual interest rate on the popular Public Provident Fund (PPF) and National Savings Certificate (NSC) will continue to be 7.1% and 6.8%, respectively.

One-year term deposit scheme will fetch an interest rate of 5.5%, whereas, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana account will offer a 7.6% rate of interest.

For the five-year senior citizen’s savings scheme, the rate of interest will to 7.4%. Interest is paid quarterly on the senior citizens’ savings scheme.
