Basohli police led by PSI, Faizal Razadev under the supervision SDPO, Basohli Shazia Akhter has seized two quintals of fish and arrested two persons in this regard.
Police said during naka checking duty at Atal Setu, Basohli one vehicle (car) was noticed moving suspiciously by checking team which was directed its driver to stop.
On physical checking approximately two quintals of fish were recovered from the illegal possession of persons namely Mohit Kumar, son of Sat Paul of Pathankot and his accomplice namely Jaibeer Bachan son of Ramesh Chander of Pathankot who were later on handed over to Fishery Department Officer for taking action under Fisheries Act.
