JAMMU: Sandhya Dhar – a Boccia player for category BC-4 has won a Bronze medal in the 6th Boccia National Championship, hosted by Chitkara University from March 17 to 21.
The first prize went to Haryana’s Puja Gupta, while 2nd prize was secured by Annapurna of Karnataka and Sandhya stood 3rd in the championship.
Sandhya Dhar has been disable by cerebral palsy since her childhood as her both limbs are not working but despite all of these, she shined in the championship and brought laurels for the J&K.
