SAMBA : The Shriram Universal School, Samba organized the felicitation ceremony for the Shri Champs in its school premises, wherein the students were awarded for their outstanding performances in various events at national level.
Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman and Rajni Gupta, Director, Apurv Gupta along with Shivani Vaid also blessed the students.
The program started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a floral welcome of the guests by Vedika Singh and Samarth Mahajan, students of TSUSJ Shivani Vaid delivered the welcome address, wherein she appreciated the distinguished guests for sparing their valuable time & for boosting the morale of children with their inspiring words.
Then arrived the long-awaited moments, when the meritorious students were given away the gold medals for their meritorious work.
The children also performed various cultural activities like a Classical dance, a welcome song & the school song to make this event memorable.
Chander Mohan Ji Congratulated the school management for the CBSE affiliation for higher Secondary in short span of time and also appreciated the students for bringing laurels to the institution and the district of Samba.
He also conveyed his best wishes to the school, which has emerged as a model of excellence, imparting quality education to the children.
He appreciated the school teachers for providing holistic education to children so as to ensure that global citizenry passes out from its hallowed portals.
Sanjeev Gupta also lauded the endeavours of worthy parents, students and staff. He wished the champs innumerable milestones and glory ahead.
The event reached its culmination point with the vote of thanks by Sujata Kaul.
